Description
Large, very decorative and detailed model of a two-seater wooden motorboat in the style of the runabout or barrel back boats by Chris-Craft (USA).
Worked in various woods, including mahogany, teak and maple, partly stained and inlaid. Underside painted in red. Metal parts, leather seats and plexiglass windows. At the back with flag of the American motorboat brand Chris-Craft.
The model is strongly reminiscent of the luxurious Italian Riva boats, which impress with their fine woodworking and elegant lines. Chris-Craft typically built this type of boat in the USA in the 1930s and 1940s
