Description
A stylish and elegant painted console table from around 1960, featuring clean lines, understated proportions, and refined decorative accents. Finished in a deep charcoal-black paint with intentional distressing, this piece has acquired a soft patina that enhances its sculptural silhouette. The table offers three functional drawers, each fitted with original brass ring pulls and framed by subtle raised moldings. Brass medallions at each front corner add a neoclassical touch and elevate the otherwise minimalist design. Supported by straight, tapering legs, the table is both lightweight in appearance and sturdy in construction. Ideal as an entryway table, writing desk, or behind a sofa, this versatile piece merges modern utility with vintage charm. The blend of midcentury simplicity and antique-inspired details makes it an easy fit for a variety of interiors—from transitional to contemporary and beyond.
