Description
An incredibly unique find on a hill top Villa in Turin, this cabinet has resided in the same home since its creation and hence is in remarkably good condition. The drawings and paintings are superb, a singular piece of art.
The cabinet can be disassembled and travel flat in 8 parts. It is put together without any tools- only wooden pegs, and iron clasps traditional for the time. Forged nails are evident including remnant of old Italian script on the interior.
This is its original color - a gently jaunt to ivory with grey accents, 4 panels depicting 4 different and complex scenes. Original Lock & Key -
