Description:
A striking mid-century sofa by Edward Wormley for Dunbar, model 5485A, designed in 1955. This generously scaled piece has been reupholstered in premium Italian mohair and features down-filled seat and back cushions for exceptional comfort.
The sofa sits on a distinctive slab-leg base composed of two 3" vertical panels of Brazilian mahogany, 8" high. These architectural legs, positioned perpendicular to the frame, provide both stability and sculptural presence—offering clean lines without visual clutter.
