Marc Wroe Turned Turquoise-Inlaid Wood Vessel, II
-
Description
This is a beautifully elaborated and finely carved Burl vessel that has been polished to a satin smoothness and inlaid with turquoise by the listed Arizona Artist, Marc Wroe. The vessel is artist signed and dated 4/1994. The beauty of the piece speaks for itself. In his turnings of carefully selected woods and inlaid turquoise, Marc Wroe expresses the soul of the living tree. Wroe unites the Southwestern cultural influences--Native American, Spanish Colonial and trespassing American settlers as he expresses his art. The vessel dates to the late 20th century and is in very good original condition. We have applied a couple of coats of hard paste wax to heighten its natural beauty.
We have listed two additional Marc Wroe vessels separately. Please contact MJH Design Arts for pricing if you desire to purchase all three vessels. -
