Seguso Vetri d’Arte Pulegoso Bubble Vase with Handles, Murano, Italy 1950s
-
Description
An impressive and solid art glass studio vase featuring two decorative snail-shaped handles, dated circa 1950s. Handcrafted by Seguso Vetri d’Arte, Murano, Venice, Italy. Elegant in form and showcasing extraordinary craftsmanship, this piece was hand-blown from clear glass using the traditional Pulegoso technique, which results in a dense texture filled with tiny air bubbles that give the vase a soft, cloudy appearance. This is a solid and heavy vase, weighing approximately 7.5 lbs (3.4 kg). It remains in excellent condition, showing almost no signs of use—most likely a display piece that was never actively used. A truly visually captivating and collectible example of mid-century Murano glass artistry. Height: 9" (23 cm) Diameter: 7.5" (19 cm)
