Edwardian Classical sterling silver bowl on plate. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1914. Bowl: Ovoid on raised and stepped foot; pierced scrolled band at top. Cover raised with spoon cutout, reeded rim, and acorn finial. Plate: Well in solid surround; pierced scrollwork bordered by leaf-and-dart. Designed for caviar though certain to raise up an informal chip 'n dip buffet.
Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 18670A1 (first produced in 1914), and director’s letter m. Very good condition.
