Rare, unusual Art Nouveau pedestal or plant stand by the famous company of Thonet in Vienna. Artfully designed in the early 20th century around 1906, this pedestal provides two round compartments connected by delicate beechwood columns. The upper level is additionally highlighted by two bentwood rings on the outside which confers this unique pedestal a truly uniwue style. A beautiful mahogany trimmed finish and the extraordinary shape confers this Art Nouveau plant stand/ pedestal an absolute timeless look - easy to combine with many different interior styles. It can be used in multiple ways, for example as a display stand for valuable ceramics, figurines or in its origin: as a flower/ plant stand. Marked on the bottom with the renowed Thonet paper mark.
