This exceptional pair of 19th-century Swedish Gustavian chests embodies the elegance and restraint that define the Gustavian style. Painted in a soft, muted gray tone with a timeworn patina, the chests feature three spacious drawers each, adorned with neoclassical brass ring pulls and escutcheons. The top drawer is framed by a carved dentil molding, adding architectural rhythm, while subtle carved details along the corners lend refinement without excess. Resting on tapered legs, these chests balance sturdiness with grace, making them versatile for both traditional and modern interiors.
