Hollywood Regency Style, Mahogany, Parcel Gilt, Cellarette or Palm Stand, England, 19th/20th C.

A small Mahogany and parcel gilt cellarette or palm stand produced in England in the late 19th, early 20th century. This example features a slatted tapering openwork basket raised on three gilt and ebonized dolphin supports resting on a tripartite stand over claw and ball fee.
