A striking and sculptural six-drawer dresser or credenza combining the refined geometry of late Art Deco with the rich materiality of parchment and rosewood. The drawers are clad in smooth, ivory-toned natural parchment, offering a soft contrast to the dramatically book-matched rosewood veneer that adorns the top and sides—creating a stunning visual rhythm of symmetrical graining.

The drawers are accented with understated yet elegant brass ring pulls, consistent with the clean-lined, high-glamour aesthetic of the period. The piece rests on four tall, square-profile legs, giving it a confident stance and lifting the substantial casework with lightness and clarity.

The blend of natural materials, architectural form, and luxurious finish speaks to both French and Italian decorative traditions of the 1940s and ’50s.
