French 19th Century Walnut Louis XVI Style Enfilade
-
Description
Dimensions: 39 ⅝” H x 80 ¼” W x 21” D
This 19th century Louis XVI style walnut enfilade is topped with an exciting slab of Verdi Alpi marble that beautifully contrasts the linear formality and rich brown tones of the case. The energetic stone is swirled with veining and patches of white and emerald green, shaped with chamfered front corners then projecting slightly over the fluted pilasters in the case below. Storage options of the large case are arranged as three drawers across the frieze and four cabinet doors below representing three distinct compartments that will keep a dining room, living room, or foyer organized. Below the wide drawer (at center) is the larger of the three cabinets, flanked on the other side of the pilaster by smaller cabinets all using their own working locks and keys to open. Interior shelves, approximately 17 ¼” deep, are adjustable on sawtooth brackets to reconfigure to your needs–wherever this dramatic storage piece finds its new home. Fluted, tapering legs elevate the piece from the floor. Cleaned, tightened, and polished with a French paste wax this buffet is ready for your interior. Please view the detailed images to see more. Three keys included. -
