A graceful dining table model 2101 designed by Luigi Massoni and manufactured by Mobilia, Italy 1959. This round pedestal dining table with a dramatic striped tulip shaped base finishing with an accentuated rolled edge in maplewood.

“Luigi Massoni (1930–2013) was a prolific Italian architect, designer, journalist, and publisher. Instrumental in the growth of Italy’s postwar design industry, he worked with many of the country’s most influential brands and designed furniture, housewares, and lighting.
With architect Carlo De Carli, Massoni co-founded the magazine Il Mobile Italiano. In 1959, he founded Mobilia, an association of furniture industrialists that was one of the first centers dedicated to promoting Italian design. “ -
