Description
Dimensions: 39 ¾” H x 66 ¾” W x 25” D
A statement piece for a dining room or foyer, this 19th century Louis XVI style enfilade demonstrates refined taste and luxury in any scenario. The original, white marble slab conforms to the breakfront of the demilune shape, protruding over the middle section before sloping back toward the wall, the stone traced with thin ribbons of gray veining. Two rectangular drawers in the center use elegantly curved drop handles to open; the right drawer is organized into five sections while the left drawer is undivided. Surprisingly, the curved left and right corners aren’t fixed but fully functioning drawers as well, swinging out by their ring pulls at a 45 degree angle to the case. In the main body, four doors with stunning mahogany fronts enclose the various storage compartments: quarter-round cabinets to the sides offering two small shelves each (sharing a key between them) and a wide cabinet with single shelf (20 ½” deep) behind the middle doors right sharing one key between them. Fluted pilasters transition into conical feet elevating the piece from the floor which creates a sense of lightness against the grand scale. Cleaned and tightened, polished with a French paste wax this antique buffet is ready for your interior. Please view the detailed images to see more. Two keys included. -
