    Alexander Girard Wall mirror for Textiles & Objects 1961
    This is the "Mirror for Textiles & Objects" designed by Alexander Girard for Herman Miller in 1961. The mirror was created for Girard's avant-garde "Textiles and Objects Shop" that opened in New York City in 1961. It features a mirrored glass center surrounded by panels of fabric-covered wood with brass corner details. The design reflects Girard's approach of combining vibrant colors and folk influences with functional modernism.
