Description
Designed by Italian architect and designer Marco Zanuso and produced by Arflex in 1957, the Milord armchair is a defining example of mid-century modern furniture design.
Its elegantly curved Jatoba-veneered sides frame a comfortable seat upholstered in black Skai, demonstrating Zanuso’s ability to balance form, function, and material quality with exceptional precision. The chair’s sculptural silhouette, careful proportions, and refined craftsmanship reflect the innovation, elegance, and optimism of postwar Italian design.
Combining architectural presence with everyday comfort, the Milord remains a highly collectible and sought-after classic luxury design icon. Its enduring elegance, thoughtful detailing, and practical design make it a statement object for interiors, museums, and private collections, embodying the timeless sophistication and modernist vision that define Zanuso’s remarkable work. -
