Description
A refined pair of Louis XVI–style mahogany bedside tables featuring white marble tops encircled by elegant openwork brass galleries. Each table opens on the front with two drawers, framed by delicate brass beading that enhances their neoclassical symmetry. The fluted legs, ending in brass sabots, provide a graceful balance of form and function. The rich tone of the mahogany contrasts beautifully with the soft veining of the marble, embodying the understated luxury of the Louis XVI aesthetic. Both tables have been carefully cleaned and their brass galleries polished, ensuring a warm, luminous presentation while preserving authenticity. Minor age-related marks — including a faint hairline at one marble corner and subtle halos — attest to their history without diminishing their elegance. A timeless and versatile pair that complements both classical and contemporary interiors, ideal as nightstands or side tables in refined living spaces.
