A stately 18th-century Italian wardrobe, handcrafted in solid poplar and dated 1751, as inscribed across the upper frieze. Originating from Tuscany, this elegant armoire reflects the region’s restrained yet noble craftsmanship of the period. The two paneled doors open to a spacious interior, which remains lined in its original decorative paper—a charming detail that speaks to its authenticity and well-preserved condition. The simple molded cornice and shaped base lend balance and quiet grandeur to the piece, while the naturally aged surface reveals a rich, warm patina acquired over nearly three centuries.
