Description
English Antique Bamboo Desk, circa 1870
A superb English antique bamboo desk, richly patinated and in beautifully original condition. This fine 19th-century piece features five lacquered drawers, each retaining its original brass handle, and stands elegantly on curved front legs. The leatherette top is clean and well preserved, complementing the warm tones of the bamboo.
All bamboo elements remain intact, and the desk is structurally sound and strong. A highly decorative and functional example of Victorian bamboo furniture, showcasing the charm and craftsmanship typical of English design circa 1870. -
