    Antoñio Pineda 970 std Silver Mid Century Modernist Bracelet. Pineda's most sought after spheres designs. The 970 std (higher than sterling), bracelet comprising 14 links each individually attached by hinges. Tongue and groove closure and safety chain, original to the piece. Length: 8". Weight: 109.5 grams. Marked with Antonio Taxco crown. Condition good. Original patina, has not been overly polished. Reflections from photography only. Antoñio Pineda (1919-2009), was an internationally renowned Mexican Modernist silversmith praised for his bold, striking designs. He studied painting and sculpture as a child, and apprenticed at William Spratling's Taller de Las Delicias before founding his own workshop in 1941.
