American Victorian Rococo gilt sterling silver centerpiece bowl, ca 1890. Oval with high-looping side handles and domed foot. Well solid and lobed. Sides and foot rim have openwork leafing scrollwork, diaper, and flowers; handles have open scrollwork with flower caps. Marked “Sterling” with no. 3143. Very good condition. Wear to gilding.
