Jeon Byeong Sam is a South Korean artist born in 1977 who lives and works in Seoul, South Korea. He is a contemporary artist internationally known for his unique artworks created with the methodologies of “folding” and “unfolding” objects. His artistic research focuses on to explore “impossible worlds” that can never be reached by the limited body of human being. Jeon studied sculpture at Hongik University, Korea. He holds a master's degree in fine arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and holds the master's degree in information and computer science from the University of California, Irvine. For the past two decades of his artistic journey, he has been invited to present his artworks worldwide mainly including: UNESCO (France), SIAF (Japan), SIGGRAPH (USA), ISIMD (Turkey), AsiaGraph (China), ArtBots (Ireland), Salon (Cuba), LIFE (Russia), Netfilmmakers (Denmark), Siggraph ASIA (Singapore), and many more. -
