vintage Curtis Jeré metal wall sculpture depicting the iconic Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco; large scale dimensional wall sculpture composed of detailed brass and wire-work with benches, lamposts and urns on pedestals; signed on upper right eave of roof 'C. Jeré'
The company was founded in 1963 by Jerry Fels and his brother-in-law Curtis Freiler. Curtis Jeré (C. Jeré) is a compound nom-de-plume of the artists' names. Freiler was the production chief and Fels was head of design. Their goal was to produce "gallery-quality art for the masses" and was manufactured and marketed by Artisan House. -
