Description
This 19th-century Alsatian armchair features a dark-stained wooden frame typical of regional folk craftsmanship. The backrest includes two horizontal slats topped with rounded finials, adding to its rustic charm. Gently curved and sculpted armrests rest on straight supports, while the fixed seat cushion is upholstered in green velvet and finished with decorative tacks. The straight legs joined by stretchers and the scalloped apron reflect traditional local design. Structurally sound, with wear consistent with age and use.
