Description
This is a newly created pillow in the “Libreria” pattern; the fabric is dated 1961. This "Libreria" pattern was created by Pierro Fornasetti (1913 -1988) and the fabric was printed during his lifetime, making it considerably more desirable than later yardage. This Fornasetti is in excellent condition having been stored for over 50 years and purchased from the family of the original owner. The pillow is backed in a high-end strie silk and further detailed with a micro welt. The custom insert is composed of 30% goose down to 70% goose feather to provide structure to the pillow and protection of the fabric.
MJH Design Arts has over 15 years of experience creating custom pillows from antique and pre-1980's Fortuny fabrics; many of the fabrics were created during the life time of Mariano Fortuny. We will be adding pillows created from vintage and antique Fortuny fabric in the near future.
**Two "Libreria" pillows are available. -
