Description
John Richard Gilt wood, Gilt Metal Mirrored Wall sconces, Not Electrified, Pair
Offered for sale is a pair of elegant faux-gilt wood and gilt metal wall sconces by John Richard. The scones are not electrified and probably intended to be used as candle sconces. The maker however, did provide holes for wiring to allow them to be easily converted to electricity if desired. The sconces have a lovely applied patina aged finish.
John-Richard, founded in 1980 in Mississippi, is renowned for transforming historical and cultural influences into bespoke furnishings. A staple for discerning collectors, these pieces promise enduring elegance. The back of the these wonderful sconces are marked "For those who want the finest". That is the motto of John Richard Furniture. -
