Set below a rising hill, Theodore Jeremenko’s depiction of a Colonial house and attached barn is a typical example of the artist’s work.
However, the inclusion of an early spiderweb transom above the door of the brown house and the corbelled molding below the soffit of the white steepled building differentiate these buildings from the more minimalist, utilitarian structures depicted in the early New England structures of the artist’s work. -
