Description
A sophisticated Swedish salon suite from the second half of the 19th century, comprising a sofa and a matching pair of armchairs. Crafted in Sweden circa 1850–1880, this ensemble exemplifies the quiet elegance and balanced proportions associated with Scandinavian furniture of the period, influenced by late Neoclassical design.
The solid wood frames feature gently curved arms, tapered legs, and restrained carved details, all retaining a warm, naturally aged patina that speaks to their authenticity. The suite has been newly upholstered in a light, neutral fabric that complements the original structure while lending a clean, timeless aesthetic suitable for contemporary interiors.
Elegant without excess ornamentation, the set offers both visual harmony and functional comfort. Ideal for a formal living room, library, or sitting room, this 19th-century Swedish salon suite presents a refined blend of historical character and enduring design appeal.
