Expertise from the Gio Ponti Archive.
Gio Ponti and Bonacina collaborated on the production of the Continuum armchair in 1963. The armchair was produced through the 1960’s until there was a disagreement between Ponti and Bonacina. It was at that point that Gio Ponti and Bonacina went separate ways. The armchairs production continued with various design changes through the 1970’s to 2015. Gio Ponti was not involved in the design changes. The armchairs were later (2020) distributed by Molteni & Co to the present. -
