Description
Dimensions: 21 ¼” H x 59 ⅜” W x 29 ⅞” D
French 19th century farmhouse (dining) table, circa 1840, recently adapted for use as a coffee table to recontextualize the familiarity of a humble farm table placing that sense of warmth and welcome in a living area. Handmade from walnut, the planks of the top feature handsome grain patterns which commingle with the visible square peg joinery and patina from over a century of use. Within the apron is a rather wide drawer for convenient but out of sight storage, opened by a small turned knob. Cleaned and polished with a paste wax, this antique occasional table is ready for its new home. Be sure to view the detailed images to see the current condition. -
