A lovely pair of carved wood lounge chairs executed in the Louis XV style, highlighted by central floral carved crests and flowing rococo contours. The frames retains a silver leaf finish, lending the pair a distinctive luminosity and reflecting the influence of the Art Deco sensibility prevalent at the time of their creation. Newly upholstered, the chairs offer a harmonious blend of 18th-century French design vocabulary with early 20th-century decorative refinement.
