Pair of Georg Kofoed Sculptural Danish Wingback Chairs in Black Leather
-
Description
Pair of dramatic high-back armchairs with rounded, sculptural backs upholstered in black leather with classic button-tufted detailing. Attributed to Georg Kofoed, Denmark, circa 1948, the chairs are handcrafted over solid wood frames with eight-way hand-tied spring seats, offering excellent back support and comfortable seating. Raised on round, tapered legs, they are in very good original condition, with age-appropriate wear to the leather that adds to their vintage character.
