19th Century Black Forest Rustic Wall Mirror, Handcarved, Austria circa 1870
-
Description
Extraordinary rustic wall mirror from the 19th century around 1870 in Austria. An unusual piece of a Black Forest mirror that has been elaborately handcarved out of basswood in an exceptional style. The main frame has been creafted in a very artfully, uncommon manner of tree branches and shows additional slim bars on the outside. The dark brown varnished surface enforces these carvings and confers this beautiful Black Forest mirror this unique rustic charme. Another lovely masterpiece in our rustic mirror collection coming in perfect restored condition.
