Description
A distinctive nineteenth-century French wrought iron table, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and a richly aged surface. The base is constructed in hand-forged iron, retaining a beautifully developed antique patina that reflects decades of use and exposure. The structure is both visually light and structurally stable, with elegant cross-bracing and finely worked legs that demonstrate the skill of traditional ironwork.
The table is topped with a white marble slab accented by subtle gray veining, providing contrast against the dark iron base. The marble surface enhances both durability and visual refinement while remaining appropriate to the period. The piece is signed by Emile Paul of Bordeaux on the lead connecting elements, an important detail that supports its authenticity and regional craftsmanship.
Stable and in good overall condition, this table is well suited for use as a console, center table, or garden-room piece. Its honest materials, sculptural base, and authentic patina make it a strong decorative element for both interior and covered exterior settings.
This is an antique and having been around for a long time, it will show signs of wear. Antique pieces have very much sought-after character and associated flaws. Please review photos for condition & contact us with questions! -
