Description
This opulent mid-century crystal chandelier is a radiant example of the opulence and artistry of mid-century European lighting. It is attributed to either Palwa (Palme & Walter) or Bakalowits & Söhne, two legendary German and Austrian manufacturers renowned for their luxurious lighting creations.
Composed of meticulously arranged faceted crystal glass elements, the design features a gleaming gilded brass frame that supports a cascade of circular crystal rosettes—an aesthetic signature seen in both Palwa and Bakalowits works from the 1960s and 70s.
Its symmetrical structure and impressive craftsmanship highlight the attention to detail that made these makers favorites among high-society residences and grand hotels across Europe.
