Description
Elegant Louis XVI–style side table crafted in mahogany during the 20th century, reflecting the refined neoclassical proportions associated with the late 18th-century French aesthetic. The rectangular case opens with two drawers on the front, each fitted with brass pulls and supported by slender, tapered fluted legs terminating in bronze sabots.
The table is crowned by a white veined marble top framed by an openwork brass gallery, adding both decorative refinement and practical function. Its balanced scale and architectural clarity make it suitable as a bedside table, side table, or accent piece within both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Fine craftsmanship is evident in the clean joinery, harmonious proportions, and quality materials, all characteristic of faithful Louis XVI revivals. The piece presents well with age-appropriate wear consistent with use, preserving its antique character while remaining highly functional.
A versatile and timeless furnishing combining classic French design with understated elegance.
This is an antique and having been around for a long time, it will show signs of wear. Antique pieces have very much sought-after character and associated flaws. Please review photos for condition & contact us with questions! -
