Description
This is the design-rich ARI Chairs by Scandinavian designer Arne Norell. Norell's significance in design history is evidenced by his 1973 award of 'Showpiece of the Year' from the British Furniture Manufacturers' Association. It stands as an exemplar of Scandinavian modern design, combining a chrome-finished steel frame with genuine leather cushions. The cushions are suspended from the frame by thick leather straps, achieving both durability and comfort. The original leather has developed a deep, aged patina over time, enhancing its distinctive character. Undoubtedly a highly prized collector's item, this is an original piece from the company Norell himself founded, Möbel AB Arne Norell.
