    The Carlton is a refined English Regency style chair, inspired by the work of Gillows & Co., characterized by its curving and counter-curved back and sweeping sabre-form rear legs. The turned front legs are tapered with continuous, subtle fluting all around, terminating in a ball foot.

    A versatile chair that pairs equally well with antique or modern settings, the Carlton embodies the enduring appeal of Regency design—graceful, disciplined, and quietly expressive.

    A similar model, attributed to Gillows & Co., was included in the Longleat sale at Christie’s London in 2002, lot 421.

    Shown here in mahogany and upholstered in Bramble - Chroma from Rebecca Atwood, the Carlton may be customized in a range of finishes and COM fabrics to suit both traditional and transitional interiors. Armchairs also available.
