1981 first edition retrospective on the design company of Hans & Florence Knoll in Very Good (VG) condition. Covers Bauhaus origins to 1981 line of furnishings and products. 183 black and white & 230 color illustrations. This book features the designers, architects, artists, and sculptors who have designed Knoll's furniture and textiles. They include Mies van der Rohe, Eero Saarinen, Alvar Aalto, George Nakashima, Isamu Noguchi, Ettore Sottsass, Florence Knoll, Harry Bertoia, Marcel Breuer, and Anni Albers. Book design by Massimo Vignelli with contributions by Richard Saul Wurman and Christine Rae. Authored and edited by Eric Larrabee. Dust jacket has light wear, rubbing, and foxing inside edges. The hard cover seems to have a slight warp.
