    A sideboard by Gianfranco Frattini, produced in 1957 by Bernini. The frame and veneer are rosewood, with three tambour doors opening to reveal a series of drawers and shelves. The base is doubled with raised bands.

    Designer: Italian architect and designer Gianfranco Frattini (1926–2004) opened his studio in Milan after working for his mentor, Gio Ponti. He collaborated with Cesare Cassina in 1954, as well as with numerous manufacturers such as Bernini, Arteluce, Artemide, and Livio Castiglioni, with whom he designed his famous Boalum lamp. His career focused on architecture and industrial design, creating furniture and lighting for his interiors.
