Rare Native American Carved Burl Ash Bowl with Handles
Northeastern, probably Woodland
Late 18th/early 19th c.
Hand carved and hewn from black ash burl wood.
Excellent condition, old mellow re-finished surface, wear commensurate with age and use.
Provenance: Collection of Peter Tillou, Litchfield, Connecticut, thence by descent.
