Set of four Model 3107 “Series 7” chairs designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen, originally introduced in 1955. Early edition examples manufactured in Denmark, retaining Fritz Hansen labels and embossed maker’s mark to the underside metal mounts. Molded plywood shells in rosewood with visible grain pattern, raised on steel bases with capped feet. The chairs feature the classic armless silhouette with gently curved backrests and waterfall seats. Labels present to undersides. An early rosewood edition of the “Series 7” is sought after for its material and production period, making this set of interest to collectors of Danish modern design. From a private collection.
