Description
A set of four Mid-Century Modernist cylindrical pendant chandeliers, crafted from hand-blown Murano blue and white glass, signed Venini, Italy, circa 1960. These exquisite pendants highlight the unparalleled craftsmanship and avant-garde design philosophy of Venini, one of Murano’s most esteemed glass studios.
Each chandelier features cylindrical, hand-blown glass shades, designed in swirling hues of soft blue and crisp white, creating a harmonious interplay of color and light. The clean, minimalist form accentuates the understated elegance of the design while showcasing the mastery of Murano glass-blowing techniques. When illuminated, the glass radiates a soft luminosity, transforming any space into an artful, modern environment.
The Venini signature affirms their authenticity as works from the iconic Murano atelier, renowned for blending traditional Venetian glassmaking with modern design innovation throughout the 20th century.
Newly rewired to American Standards and with heights that can be adjusted to suit, these chandeliers accommodate one edison base each achieving up to 100 watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition, these four pendants are a rare and striking find, perfect for lighting a dining area, kitchen island, or living space. Their timeless aesthetic and Italian craftsmanship embody the sophistication of mid-century modern design.
