Louis XVI style round mahogany Bouillotte table with white Carrara marble top decorated with a pierced brass gallery. Drawers in the front and back and two pull-outs. All resting upon fluted tapering legs capped with brass sabots. This piece of furniture takes its name from the game "Bouillotte", very fashionable in Versailles at the end of the 18th century. Sourced from the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine, Paris, France. Late 19th Century.
