This period French Hollywood Regency coffee table features a verdigris and gilt metal sheaf of wheat base beneath a rectangular glass top. The gathered stems create movement and reflect light, offering a sculptural centerpiece. The sheaf motif symbolized prosperity and harvest for centuries and became iconic in interiors after Coco Chanel placed a similar table in her Paris apartment.
