Czech Wilhelm Kralik Sohn Bohemian Caged Blown Glass Vase 1920s
Offered for sale is a large Wilhelm Kralik Sohn caged art glass vase from the early 20th century. The vase features multicolored, swirling Bohemian art glass blown into and encased in a patinated metal Art Deco mount or cage.
Wilhelm Kralik Sohn was a prominent Bohemian glassworks founded in 1815 in Eleonorenhain, known for producing high-quality Art Nouveau and iridescent glass in the early 20th century into the Art Deco period. Originating from a split in the Meyr's Neffe company, it was operated by Wilhelm Kralik’s sons Heinrich and Johann and became a major competitor to Loetz. -
