Offered for sale is a period French Napoleon III ebonized desk with "boulle" inlay. This Napoleon III desk is in the mid-stage of a restoration. It is sturdy and completely functional and can be used in its chic and charming state or could be finished to achieve a more refined potential. Napoleon III ebonized and gilt bronze pieces are one of the most elegant periods of furniture. This is a large substantial desk with a drawer that will make a statement when placed in a room.
