Vintage Chrome Paul Evans Cityscape Tiled Coffee Table, Original Glass Top

Offered for sale is a vintage Paul Evans "Cityscape" tiled chromed coffee table. The table is topped with the very large original glass top. The table is signed on the end as shown. The base is in two different formed sections with tiled "Cityscape" chrome panels.

While Paul Evans began making furniture in the mid-1950s, he developed the Cityscape line specifically for Directional Furniture in 1971.
Directional furniture was predominantly made in the United States, with a significant manufacturing presence in North Carolina. Founded in 1949 by B.G. Mesberg and designer Paul McCobb.

Condition:	Good. Wear consistent with age and use. The original glass shows surface wear commensurate with age and use. The chrome does also show some scratches and a couple minor impressions. The chrome tiles are flat and secure.
