Description
A stunning pair of vintage Scandinavian armchairs from the 1940s, attributed to Boman Oy. Featuring plush upholstery in a luxurious red fabric. The chairs feature a beautifully sculpted curved backs and inviting barrel-form silhouettes that embody the refined sophistication of Swedish Grace and Art Deco design. The chairs are upholstered in a rich deep red velvet with subtle button-tufted detailing along the interior backs, while decorative fringe trim conceals the lower base and legs, adding a glamorous Hollywood Regency touch to the overall design.
The soft rounded forms and generous proportions create an exceptionally comfortable seating experience while showcasing the understated elegance and craftsmanship associated with mid-century nordic and scandinavian furniture. Their graceful lines and enveloping shape make them ideal accent chairs for both classic and contemporary interiors, blending effortlessly into Scandinavian Modern, Art Deco, eclectic, or luxury residential spaces.
The upholstery shows visible wear consistent with age and use, and the chairs would benefit from reupholstery. Reupholstery services can be provided at a reasonable additional cost upon request. A striking and highly decorative pair of Finnish vintage lounge chairs with timeless character and sophisticated presence. -
