A wonderful art deco lounge chair in dark brown / purple velvet and inlaid wood. The low countries, 1930s.

The chair features majestic proportions and a very nice stance, combined with the beautifully inlaid wood veneer at the facade this chair is both a comfortable lounge chair and a sculptural statement piece in your room at the same time. A strong yet elegant design with angular and sturdy shapes. Works great combined with other styles and materials. Overall a very good and timeless art deco design.

Comes in a good overall condition with slight wear on the upholstery and some minor veneer damage at the feet - which will be masterfully restored when sold.
